Being presented with my first British Championship title

JuniorStock - 1988- by a smug looking Steve Webster, his side kick, plus some young 250 jockey...Carl someone?

Chris Carter grabs me for a post race chat at Thruxton after a belting race 400 Supersort race.

NW200 1993, Yer' man and me after the 600 Supersport race. Moodie won with me second and Joey third.

Steve Hislop compares his pot against mine in Macau 94. He had won the two race format and I was second....only just.

Charlie Williams and DJ discuss lines etc while I catch up with Tony Anderson at Oulton Park 1994.

Macau 95, Serge Rosette RoC team owner congratulates me on my win.

On the grid at Macau 95, getting ready for the warm up lap. Phillip McCallen on pole while I chat up one of the RoC girls!

A familiar picture in 94 or as Fred Clarke used to say "business as usual" with me, Ian Simpson and Iain Duffus on the big box.

1994 at Donington Park for the Inaugural Triumph Speed triple race - after taking the win, I'm chatting with Roger Golicker from Shell and Dave Heal.

One of my all time great moments, 1994 Bol d'Or.

My first 24 hour with Phase one we came second behind the Factory Yamaha.

1995 Brands Hatch - I came second in the race but at last I won the 600 Supersport Championship title overall. On the pace car with race winner Dave Heal, Steve Plater and my, then young son Dale!

This odd looking line up was the 1989 Belstaff Team photo shoot. Left to right:

Trevor Nation, Steve Ives, John Corrin, Johnny Rea (Snr) Me, Mark Farmer, Howard Selby, Ron Haslam

....how young we all were!

The Motorcycle Grand Prix winners board in the Motor museum in Macau.

I took my daughter Jodie to Hong Kong in 2008, and while we were so close, I thought I'd take her and have a look round Macau - I don't really think she believed it was actually me in the list!
